Canning Town FC

Canning Town Football Club's official website..

Canning Town F C welcome you to their new and improved, website. Some may rightly say that it has been Canning Town FC Chairman Ray Mahoney quite a while since the site was last up and running properly, but finally here it is just for you!

Canning Town are a well run and organized club which boast four competitive teams in well established leagues. In addition to this, they have a Vet's team which play as often as they can find opposing teams to play against. With this taken into consideration, it is no wonder they now boast a large and healthy squad. Canning Town FC Goalkeeper

The main thing that keeps the club together is their spirit which shows in the way they approach the game, the way they play the game and their responses after the game. This great overall team spirit is one which you won't find too often in many other clubs. We respect everyone, and every player plays with his heart.

Our current home grounds are, 1stTeam - McMillan stadium, 2nd Team - West Ham community pitch, 3rd& 4th Teams - Lyle Park. We play in two leagues the prestigious Essex Olympian and the Romford and district league.

Our matches are played across the whole of Essex county and London wide in cup competitions. We are a very responsible club that has developed an excellent reputation over the last 59 years and during this time we have been entirely self-financing.

We have a very strong social side to the club and a golf society. Many of our players have gone on to play football at higher levels, but the family spirit within the club means they are always welcome back to play again in the Royal blue shirts.
